The Telepresence technology is extremely easy to work with and does not require almost any other technologies between the interacting parties (it uses IP phones as its interface). The system is ergonomically optimized (the visual technologies, room equipment, lights etc.) and was designed with the latest scientific findings about non-verbal communication in mind. In addition to voice and video transmission, Telepresence offers a number of other useful utilities - for easy scheduling, effective presentations (e.g. whiteboarding), document editing and the like.
To transmit 3D sound and video (in HD resolution), the system uses your current IT infrastructure, and thus helps you use your existing information system more effectively. Nonetheless, to ensure non-problem operation of the technology, the conference rooms for 12 up to 16 people have to meet strict lightning and acoustic requirements.
The smaller versions of Telepresence can be installed in one of your conference rooms, which makes them an ideal solution for off-campus offices or small-sized companies. The standard delivery includes a set of unified and ergonomically optimized conference tables. Telepresence uses standardized protocols - VoIP and Video Call Control for communication transmission management, and a signaling protocol SIP.
