With this service package ANECT a.s. can guarantee high availability of your data center services and applications.
Frequent technology outages make some of the client´s key applications and services unavailable. The number of complaints about the work of the IT client is increasing rapidly, but the client usually does not have a suitable solution on hand. The solutions offered by many ICT providers require purchasing new technologies; however, the root of the problem is often somewhere else.
ANECT a.s. knows how to meet your assignment and deliver a highly available data center. All that can be often done without new large HW and SW investments. The "Highly Available DC" product guarantees high availability of your services achieved through modification of your DC communication infrastructure. It can be also combined with other ANECT´s products - other approaches to high service and application availability (cluster systems, virtual server infrastructure etc.).
ANECT a.s. is aware of the fact that the availability of DC services / applications / servers is largely affected by client´s communication infrastructure; therefore, instead of recommending purchase of new technologies, we primarily focus on changes in your communication infrastructure.
The service covers one (or more) of the following areas:
- Proposal and implementation of a CI and a backup DC
- Proposal and implementation of a redundant CI architecture within the DC
- Proposal and implementation of a system that will manage the workload balance between the DC servers
- The application/service availability on the target servers is verified simultaneously to make sure the traffic is not routed to the servers which are currently not available (no matter if this unavailability is planned or unplanned)
- Proposal and implementation or a redundant DC connection to the WAN and/or to the Internet
- The solution takes into account the advantages of managing the workload balance among more lines
- Proposal and implementation of an architecture that will support optimum response times of the services provided
This service focuses primarily on improving the availability of the DC services. The financial effect of the new solution can be calculated if the customer knows how much one hour of their critical applications outage is.
The process of implementation consists of the following phases:
- Analysis of your environment with regard to your application and business needs
- Proposal of effective adjustments of your DC environment needed for achieving the required level of security
- Financial analysis of the adjustments being suggested (ROI analysis)
- Migration to the proposed target status
- HW & SW delivery (or new setup of the current one)
- Activation of the new solution
- Acceptance tests
- Handover to routine operation
Providing the facilities and technological infrastructure for the solution is not included in the service; however, we are able to provide them via one of our subcontractors.
