ANECT´s prize to student of Slovak University of Technology

 

On Thursday, November 19, 2009, prizes for the best theses in Bachelor and Engineer Programs were awarded at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. ANECT a.s. co-sponsored the event, awarding a financial prize to one of the best graduates.

 

The Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies (FIIT) is a part of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava that focuses on research and education in informatics and information technologies. Every year on International Students´ Day, prizes for the best graduating theses are awarded to their authors. The graduates always receive special decorated diplomas and gifts from sponsors of the event (usually monetary).

 

ANECT a.s., which co-sponsored the event this year, awarded a prize to a twenty-one-year old student Martin Labaj for his bachelor thesis called "Software Design in International Competition", written under supervision of Professor Maria Bielikova. The prize was passed on to Martin Labaj by ANECT´s Key Account Manager Ivan Kúdela.

 

This year the event was also sponsored by Accenture, Soitron, Softec and Tatra Banka Foundation. The prize-awarding part was followed by an informal discussion.
