ANECT Successfully Passed ISO/IEC 20000

In June 2011, the Czech IT company ANECT successfully passed an ISO/IEC 20000 supervisory audit, carried out by DET NORSKE VERITAS (DNV). ISO/IEC 20000 is a global IT services management standard, the aim of which is to improve the quality and efficiency of IT processes, and reduce the costs related to them. It was ANECT that helped in 2006 to introduce this standard in the Czech Republic by elaborating its Czech version for the Czech Institute of Standards and Norms.

ALUCID – new solution relieves users of problems with login passwords

Secure administration of all internet accesses is ensured by one single USB device ANECT company presented the new ALUCID solution, offering simplification of existing systems for authentication and proof of identity in the cyberspace. User will not be forced to memorize loads of passwords anymore and will have personal safe with identification data in his/her hands – so-called PEIG (Personal Electronic Identity Gadget) in the form of USB, card or cell phone within which the process of login to services needed runs automatically.

ANECT Has Symantec Enterprise Security Certification

ANECT a.s. became the first company in the Czech Republic to receive Symantec Enterprise Security Certification (within Symantec Partner Program). The certification consisted of three exams for Symantec Endpoint Protection 11 and Symantec Brightmail Gateway products that ANECT consultants were required to pass: Technical Specialist (STS), Sales Expert (SSE) and Sales Engineer (SSE+).

ANECT´s Third Christmas Entertainment Day

It has become a tradition that every December ANECT Fund Board organizes a Christmas Entertainment Day for mentally handicapped people. And this year again (for the third time already) ANECT employees came to the Home for Disabled People in Prague-Sulická and to Zámeček Střelice near Brno to entertain people with intellectual and combined disabilities.

ANECT Awarded Cisco Public Sector Partner of the Year

During the Cisco Partner Summit 2010, ANECT a.s. was announced the Public Sector Partner of the Year 2009. The Partner Awards given at the yearly Cisco Partner Summit are a way of acknowledging excellent business results of Cisco partners. Just like in previous years, the Awards were again subcategorized by regions. The assessment period for 2009 started at the beginning of August 2009 and finished at the end of July 2010.

ANECT Again General Partner of CIO Network

ANECT a.s. again will be the general partner of the CIO Network Conference. This time the conference topic is "Effective management in the period of virtualization and cloud computing". The event will take place at the Green Point Conference Center on November 25, 2010. It is now the second year of this kind of meeting, and this time it will be focusing on reducing costs related to purchasing, operating, and further development of ICT as well as increasing ICT flexibility, overall benefit and, of course, also protection against impending risks which are much less expensive to eliminate in advance than to deal with later.

ANECT Successfully Passed Recertification Audit

In September, ANECT a.s. successfully passed a highly demanding audit, which checked how the quality management system is being used in the company, and how it is being assessed and improved. The audit was done in compliance with the requirements of NATO as described in the ČOS standard – the quality control required during the design, development and production stages. These ČOS 051622 quality control requirements are included in ANECT´s integrated management system which has been introduced and used in the company in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001 standards.

ANECT´s Environment Management System Successfully Recertified

At the beginning of September, ANECT´s Environment Management System successfully passed the recertification audit. At the same time the company went through the EN ISO 9001 supervisory audit, which specifies the quality management system requirements, and the ISO/IEC 27001 audit, checking the company information security management system.

ANECT – CIO Network Partner

ANECT a.s. became the General Partner of the CIO Network project in “Public service and networking”. The primary goal of the project is to provide managers of companies and institutions with a chance to meet the leading ICT providers, and share their experience and know-how. The program of the meeting included two presentations by Martin Heran and Jiří Rosenmayer from ANECT a.s., who focused on “Videoconferencing in real life” and “Secure homeworking”.
