Tomáš Prošek appointed as Director for Innovation and Strategic Development at ANECT
At the end of May Tomáš Prošek was appointed to the newly established position of Director for Innovation and Strategic Development at the Czech company ANECT, which provides IT and communications solutions. His key task will be to establish a sales strategy and develop the portfolio of products and services so as to fulfil the company's objectives.

„The fact that ANECT has established an executive management position that embodies its long-term company value ‚innovation‘ clearly sets out the company's high ambitions," said Tomáš Prošek today.
Tomáš Prošek is a graduate of the ČVUT (Czech Technical University) and Sheffield Hallam University. He has extensive experience in the communications and telecommunications sector. He was Business Development Manager at, for example, Cisco Systems. He was a manager at Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, and his previous position there before starting at ANECT was Director for New Product Development and Managing Relationships between Operators.
The main responsibilities of the new Director for Innovation and Strategic Development will be to actively search out and identify new sources of profit for the company; in particular with regards to new or expanding market segments, new or modified products and services, and new approaches to existing activities and procedures.
Tomáš Prošek (39) is married with two children. He is fluent in English and his interests include literature, golf, cycling, and skiing.
