Secure exchange of information protected by a patent

Last week the Czech Industrial Property Office granted a patent for a new inter-company communication solution called KISK - communication infrastructure for cooperating companies. This system, which ensures the controlled and secure connection of information systems of private sector organisation thus protecting them from the threats on the Internet, was devised by ANECT. The patent officially guarantees the intellectual property rights of ANECT to this solution and protects it against abuse by competitors.

„Communication infrastructure for cooperating companies means in practice that without using the Internet companies will be able to cooperate securely by combining their information systems into one corporate network" explains Marek Šoltys, Sales Director of ANECT a.s.

ANECT has already designed a communication infrastructure solution for public sector organisations called GOVBONE, from which the KISK concept was derived. „GOVBONE is used for the controlled and secure exchange of information between ministries and other public administration organisations. We made a patent application to protect against misuse of our solution in the private sector" added Marek Šoltys.

The new invention uses VPN architecture and a universal connector that connects LAN in the localities of the organisations to one or several necessary VPN networks. The entire interconnection is ensured by a private IP network that has the necessary services, security elements and monitoring. The individual VPN networks are always connected to it in one point.
