ANECT participated in the first investment forum in the Czech Republic
On Friday 26th October 2007, the Angel Investor Association (AIA), a non-profit organisation, organised the first ever investment forum in the Czech Republic for private investors and entrepreneurs with high growth potential. It was attended by roughly forty representatives of private investors (Business Angels), representatives of investment funds, managers of business incubators and entrepreneurs. The guest of the forum was Miroslav Řihák, Managing Director of ANECT and winner of the title Businessman of the Year 2004.
The investment forum was organised under the auspices of the European cross-border project EASY, which is now in its second year and includes six investment forums in the largest European capital cities. The aim of these meetings is to enable businessmen from EU countries to meet with international investors and give them an opportunity to present their business plans. After last year's conference of the European-wide organisation European Business Angel Network, the forum held in Prague is another milestone in this process.
