ANECT organised the 2nd annual race anect extrém®
A total of 34 teams started the relay race anect extrém® 2006, organised for the second year by ANECT, to heroically battle for a place on the victory podium.
anect extrém® is a relay race for management and company teams with four disciplines - running, rope climbing activities, swimming and kayaking, and MTB Cross Country. The objective of the race is to gather company and management teams at the start in a friendly atmosphere to experience the rush of adrenaline from competing in unusual and demanding sporting disciplines. This year's event saw a 100% increase in the number of competing teams, which testifies to the increasing desire to try non-traditional sports and experience team spirit.
The media partners of this year's race were weekly magazine EURO, Inside, CLICK! and Xstream. The main partner of the event was CISCO and SUN was a partner.
A very positive mood prevailed throughout the event and the beautiful weather also contributed to all the competitors and their supporters thoroughly enjoying the race.
„I would like to add my praise on behalf of the Blue Devils team. The organisation of the race and the race itself were without fault. The location was perfectly chosen, all routes were well marked, the information service was excellent. The abundance of food and drink in the refreshment tent was unbelievable. It is just a shame that the event only takes place once a year" stated František Novák of Radiokomunikace a.s regarding his participation in anect extrém®.
In the manager category first place went to the team from Cleverlance, second place went to CA IB and third place to ACTIVE 24. In the company category the winner was the X-iont team, second Xstream and third place went to Hannah.
Winners of the individual disciplines were: cross country run - Jan Havlíček, X-iont; MBT cross country - František Žilák, X-iont; rope climbing activities - David Martin, Hannah; swimming and kayak - Zbyšek Lhota, X-iont.
