ANECT Employees Raising Money for Haiti

In January 2010, ANECT Fund Board started raising money for the victims of the Haiti tragedy. The company employees donated CZK 54,951 in total; the same amount was then donated by the company. The money will be sent to the SOS Haiti account of the humanitarian organization People in Need.

ANECT Supported New Project of Basal Stimulation

The ANECT Fund Board agreed to support a new project called Bazalka which will implement the concept of basal stimulation in the Milosrdných bratří Hospital in Brno. Basal stimulation is a type of hospital care which helps patients who are bound to bed for a long time and unable to move, and which can help to meet their essential life needs. The amount of 70,000 CZK donated by ANECT will be used for special paintings in the wards of these patients and for purchasing special healthcare aids and equipment.

10,000 CZK to Children from Benefit Event

On 16 October 2008, ANECT organized a benefit performance Svět Toltéků led by Jaroslav Dušek. The proceeds of the event (10,000 CZK) were donated to the HAIMA Association Plzeň, which helps children with hematogenesis disorders. The money will be used for room decoration, filling the walls with children´s favorite fairy-tale characters.

ANECT Donated 100,000 CZK to “You Are Not Alone (Nejsi sám)” Project

ANECT decided to support a long-term innovative “You Are Not Alone” Project of the Long Way Association. The project objective is to create a network of trained consultants – parents whose child has died (or other relatives of the deceased child) and who have found something they want to live for again, and would like to help others to overcome their traumatic experience. The ANECT Fund Board allocated 100,000 CZK to the project.

Notebook for Children with Hematogenesis Disorders from ANECT Fund

As of this year ANECT has a new Fund to support socially beneficial projects. One of the first projects realized with the money from the Fund is a new notebook for the Pilsen branch of the HAIMA Association, which helps children with blood production disorders.

ANECT Supported Handicapped Swimmer Adéla Kolínská

ANECT donated 20,000 CZK to a talented swimmer who urgently needs to have her special car without which she is not able to move repaired. Adéla was selected by ANECT´s employees after a company survey.

ANECT Donated Money to Help Remove Damage Caused by 2006 Flood

This year again, ANECT reacted to the pressing needs of those affected by the flood, and offered financial help to four Bohemian and Moravian villages. Part of the total amount of 274,411 CZK which was divided between the four subjects was donated by the company and part by individual employees.
